L.A. + Hollywood

California, Los Angeles and especially Hollywood, obviously, is all about movies and certainly one of the most iconic symbols in any Hollywoodian movie is the U.S. flag!

Santa Monica Pier, where so many American Hollywood scene movies were filmed, among them: Titanic, Forrest Gump, Iron Man, Hancock and 2012.

The Carousel was originally built in 1922 and rebuilt in 1990.

Beverly Hills is an affluent city located in Los Angeles County, California, United States. It is surrounded by the City of Los Angeles.

Beverly Hills is noted for its luxurious culture and its famous residents, which include CEOs, heirs and heiresses, foreign and domestic dignitaries, authors, artists, professionals, and TV or film celebrities as well as other entertainment personalities, executives, and media creatives. It is also home to the famous upscale shopping district Rodeo drive, internationally made famous in the movie "Pretty Woman".

Hollywood Reservoir, also known as Lake Hollywood, is a reservoir located in Hollywood Hills of the Santa Monica Mountains in Los Angeles, California. It is maintained by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. The reservoir and surrounding neighborhood are located just below the Hollywood Sign.

The Hollywood Sign: It’s more than just nine white letters spelling out a city’s name; it’s one of the world’s most evocative symbols – a universal metaphor for ambition, success, glamour…for this dazzling place, industry and dream called:
H-O-L-L-Y-W-O-O-D

Well, I guess we are living The Dream! At least we are having the time of our lives!

That is "The End" for California. Say Hello to Costa Rica on our next post!
